Meet Dr. Caroline

Providing in-home euthanasia services since 2019

Dr. Caroline grew up in Southern California and can’t remember a time when there wasn’t some sort of pet in her home, whether it be hamsters, cats, or dogs. Years after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in History, she decided to pursue a career working with animals and graduated from the University of California at Davis with a doctorate in veterinary medicine.

Precious Moments

“Dutchess”

2009 – 2019

End of Life Care has always been Dr. Caroline’s passion

Owing to her deep relationship with her heart dog, Duchess, who taught her the strength of the human-animal bond. When Duchess sadly passed away in 2019 from cancer, giving a loving goodbye was the most important gift Dr. Caroline could give to her beloved friend who had been there for her through so many life changes. In helping others through the loss of their own pet, Dr. Caroline pays tribute to all of her past beloved pets by providing a loving experience with compassion for all the families she is honored to help.

Knowing When Its Time

Dr. Caroline is here to help and guide you through this difficult situation.

Saying goodbye to a companion that has been by your side for years is the toughest pet owners have to decide. Emotions can become overwhelming, and decisions very difficult to make, but ultimately the decision falls to you.

All the help you and support is with you every step of the way and in the comfort of your pets home where they feel comfortable and secure.

When should you decide euthanasia is the right thing to do for your pet?

If your pet is in pain or their quality of life has deteriorated to the point they are suffering, it’s time to make that decision. Watch for these signs

  • No longer greets you at the door
  • Loss of appetite
  • No longer plays
  • Sitting still causes pain even with medication
  • Hiding out of site
  • Seems depressed and withdrawn
  • Difficulty sitting up or down and reluctant to go up the stairs
  • For dogs, they no longer enjoy their walks
